Profil spoločnosti

Remedium existuje od roku 1990 ako súkromná vydavateľská a obchodná spoločnosť so sídlom v Bratislave. Doteraz vydalo viac ako 2 mil. 200 tis. výtlačkov kníh. Vydáva hlavne preklady diel súčasných amerických, anglických, francúzskych, nemeckých,  španielskych autorov z oblasti románovej tvorby: Elizabeth Adler, Juliette Benzoni, Francoise Bourdin, Barbara Taylor Bradford, Jacqueline Briskin, Sandra Brown, Shirley Conran, Janette Dailey, Regina Deforges, Lucinda Edmonds, Iris Johansen, Ruth Harris, Judith Krantz, Kelly Lange, Judith McNaught, Belva Plain, Claire Rayner, Nora Roberts, Danielle Steel, Barbara Wood, Laura Zigman, Michel de Grece, Harold Robbins, Sidney Sheldon, Wilbur Smith, Gonzalo Torrente Ballester, Andres Sorel, ale aj klasici španielskej literatúry Gustavo Adolfo Becquer, Leopoldo Alas Clarín, Juan Manuel a iní. 

Zastúpená je aj literatúra faktu zaoberajúca sa kultúrno- historickými súvislosťami našej civilizácie od autorov Grahama Hancocka, Roberta Bauvala, Christophera Knighta, Roberta Lomasa, ako aj eseje Ortegu y Gasset či Christiana Jacqa a ďalších. Vo vydavateľstve vychádzajú aj pôvodné tituly z oblasti jazykovej literatúry.

Characteristics:

Non-fiction is represented by comprehensive theoretical works focusing on essential points in development of our civilization and great cultural and historical eras, essays as well as original titles in the languages section.

It focuses on contemporary fiction by American, English, French, German and Spanish authors, especially on historical novels, novels for women, detective stories and medical thrillers.
